The master bedroom has a California King Memory Foam bed with a private bathroom. The living room reflects the warmth of the fireplace and has a peaceful ambiance. The library room has a twin size bed and a trundle bed. The third bedroom has a couch that folds out into a bed, or remains a private sitting room. The house has a second full bathroom. Organic bedding is available on request. Shampoo and soap are complimentary. My home is a shoe free, smoke free, and pet free home. If you have allergies, this is a perfect place to stay.
The location is excellent with easy access to Ashland, Medford, Jacksonville, and the Rogue River while providing a peaceful, private retreat. Between class sessions stay over and enjoy skiing Mt. Ashland, cross country skiing in the local mountains, rafting or fishing on the Rogue River, a day trip to Crater Lake or a two hour drive through the redwoods to the coast. Local coffee shops and restaurants are one mile away. The wine tasting room at Pebblestone Cellars www.pebblestonecellars.com is a short three minute walk away, or drive to any of other five wine tasting rooms within three miles.
Or, dine at home in the fully equipped and recently redecorated kitchen with a microwave, gas stove, granite counter tops, coffee machine, microwave, dishes, glasses, pots, etc. Everything you need for entertaining indoor or out. Sliding glass doors open to the covered patio and beautiful garden where you will find an outdoor grill, table and chairs, and three sitting areas. The neighborhood is quiet. Wi-Fi is included with free use of Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu movies and television. There are numerous books across subjects of religion, poetry, myth, and politics. If you love yoga you will find all you need for a daily practice: props, mats and yoga CD’s. I can recommend exceptional yoga studios within minutes of my home.
It’s a short walk to public transportation and my car is available for local use during your stay. There is a bike, helmet and lock upon request.
